The new 32bit static deb works ok for me.

Right now you can only enable them with Nvidia cards, if I understand scrawl correctly. They work with Ati too, but you need to tweak the source code.

In OpenGL mode you need an nvidia card for shadows currently. For DirectX it shouldn't matter. This will change after we've ported the shaders over to GLSL (I'm thinking about using the RTShaderSystem by Ogre, which can generate source code for HLSL, GLSL or CG depending on your preference).

64bit build seems to be missing MyGUIEngine.dll

Sorry about that, updated the build to include the missing dll. Just redownload it and you should be good to go

Well I can't get shadows to work in d3d9 or OpenGL on my ATI powered desktop or my Nvidia powered laptop. Also, I'm going to be very busy this week/weekend. When are you guys predicting a release? I'll try to have a video done by the end of the weekend, but I can't promise it.

I am indeed unavailabe until after the 21st, and no access to a build machine right now. But maybe someone can check out if this commit is the culprit for the launcher config problem.
