Try keeping the fatigue bar close to full at all times, it affects your chance of success for many things, including hit chance and spell success. Use weapons and spells that you are skilled with, skills increase with usage or by paying trainers. Talk to everyone, especially about rumours, advice an...

Re: OpenMW History and Timeline
Don't forget Star-Demon and his videos
I'd love to have all three of them make a cameo on the 1.0 release video.

Re: OpenMW History and Timeline
Nicolay was also in charge of the old website, openmw.com and forum , and with his sudden departure we had to move to our current domain, around August 2011, that Lukasz so graciously hosted and administered. The archives of the old forum were also copied and available here . Nicolay didn't have an...

Re: OpenMW History and Timeline
I'll chip in for a few corrections and additions. Actually the one who rewrote OpenMW from D to C++ in the beginning of 2010 was Nicolay himself, also in part to the fact that he had to write bindings for every library he had to use as well as the fact that the D implementation wouldn't even compile...

Re: [PATCH] Show [empty] tags on empty containers
I'm going on tangent here, but since I've had this issue while messing with fonts, would it be possible for OpenMW to fallback on a system font if a symbol is not covered?

Re: [PATCH] Show [empty] tags on empty containers
The "no localized strings" rule is a valid concern, to the extent that since it's considered a blocker for so many other features, perhaps the priority of a localization of framework could be reexamined. On this particular case though, what about using the utf character for the empty set i...

Re: The Future of OpenMW Scripting
Even if oldscript+ is engineered to be a technically sound, featureful and the Right Tool For The Job™, it's still a new tool for people to learn and documentation to be written for. A new potential wedge to separate the target audience. Quite a deterrent, that could lead to a chicken and egg probl...

Re: MWSE, Lua and OpenMW compatibility
On the subject of crazy features, I can imagine an OpenMW fork with the purpose of bringing to life the Jvk1166z.esp creepypasta. I would consider that a very interesting project with every reason to exist. But it would be a bad idea to make it into a mod that runs on default OpenMW, since the power...
